Carl Ruderman - Universal Media

Carl Ruderman, Chairman of the global communications and publishing firm, Universal Media, packs world-class credentials when it comes to promoting world tourism and travel markets. His long standing, membership within the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), and subject expert to the global travel industry has resulted in his inclusion as the featured speaker at numerous industry events. Additionally, Carl Ruderman stays true to his passion authoring numerous articles on the industry, tourism, and the economic impact of tourism has on various regions.

As a leader in the tourism industry, Carl Ruderman has been instrumental in global policy advocating tourism and was a key figure in uniting the Tourism Ministers of Israel, Greece and Egypt as they came together for the first time in support of regional tourism.

Working closely with governments, Carl Ruderman has developed Travel Education Programs for a collection of countries and states including: Mexico, Jamaica, Spain, Mississippi, Florida, Israel, Monaco, Switzerland, Australia, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Poland, Korea, Turkey, and Aruba. Organizations that Mr. Ruderman has assisted include Disney, Princess, Globus & Cosmos, and many more. He has worked closely with airlines, the United States Department of Commerce and government representatives to promote and encourage inbound tourism.

Carl Ruderman graduated from New York University where he earned his degree in International Banking and Finance. He is a generous philanthropist and donates time and resources to Cancer Research and Treatments, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, National Nephrology Foundation, Hospital for Joint Diseases and New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. Mr. Ruderman has also provided assistance to the Rebuild Dubrovnik Fund, Johnson & Wales University, Green Globe, Temple Emanu-El and the Turnberry Jewish Center. Mr. Ruderman is a supporter of the Windward School, a school focused on helping children with learning disabilities, where he donated the Ruderman Library.


Robert McCoy

Robert McCoy is an experienced senior executive who has served on the Board of Directors of several publicly traded companies. He served as a Director of the company until its acquisition of Green Globe in February 2008.

As president of Marquis Elevator, Inc. from 1975 to 1990, he built and then later sold the largest independent elevator company in Nevada. Subsequent to selling Marquis Elevator, Mr. McCoy was the General Manager of Canyon Investments, Inc. in Las Vegas Nevada from 1990 to 1996. Since 1996, Mr. McCoy has served as Facilities Manager for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, responsible for 487,000 square feet of facilities in the Las Vegas area. Mr. McCoy is a graduate of the University of Tennessee.


James Bickel

Mr. Bickel has served as a director for several U.S. public companies and formerly served on the Board of GTREX Capital. He also held the position of Chief Operating Officer of the company.

Mr. Bickel has over 40 years of experience in sales and senior management positions with manufacturing-based companies: Allison Spring and Manufacturing (1968-1973), Bicor Machinery and Manufacturing (1974-1979), and Keel Corporation (1980-1986), all California based manufacturing companies of high-tech metal parts and assemblies.

From 1986 to 2002 Mr. Bickel served as vice president of Uniglobe USA and president of Uniglobe Midpacific and assisted in building a national travel franchise system with over 900 locations. He later built a golf retail franchise system.

Since 2002 Mr. Bickel has acted as vice president and secretary of the World Health and Education Foundation and as vice chairman of MedChannel LLC, a medical device company serving radiology and surgical markets.

Mr. Bickel is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of S3 Investment Company, Inc., a publicly traded holding company with businesses in China. Mr. Bickel also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of CLX Investment Company, Inc. Mr. Bickel served on the Board of Directors of Sovereign Exploration Associates International Inc.
